I am coming to the same conclusion...this Instant Ink business is nothing but problems. I am in good standing paying for the instant ink for last 2 years but suddenly have lost connection to Web Services due to server error at HP. I have spoken to number of Tech Support reps but they can't fix the problem. I am now stuck, printer will not print anything. It's only a 2 year old printer so would hate to trash this printer. If they can't fix it, I will never buy another HP printer and most certainly will never buy an instant ink type plan. Best is to buy your own ink cartridge from a store, even if it is bit more expansive.
