Hi, for some reason all of a sudden I cant print bright photo's anymore. I have printed so many photos of my kids on glossy photo paper and the photo has always been nice and bright just like you would get from a professional printing shop. but now its dull not bright as if you have printed it on normal paper you get that real dull appearance to it. Can anyone help! Thank you.

- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the print quality is fine?
- Try making a standalone color copy of a picture and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Check the ink levels on the printer. Replace any low or empty cartridges.
Update the printer firmware
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Tools > Printer maintenance > Update printer > Check now
Also, check for any software updates on MAC
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Check the print settings on the MAC
Click here to know how to change the print settings. It depends on the app you are using to print.
Note: Go to 'Media and Quality' and select the options from BEST, NORMAL, or DRAFT.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Clean the printhead
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
Open the Printer Maintenance menu.
If necessary, open the Tools menu, and then touch Clean Printhead.
If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
Open the Reports or Tools menu.
Touch Print Quality Report.
