HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I unplugged my printer for a local move, and now the printer will not work in my new home when I plug it back in. The printer displays this error message when I try to print: "Cannot print with HP Instant Ink cartridges. Payment method needs updating. Sign into account at www.hpinstantink.com to update"
Aside from that URL apparently being outdated now, this is just ridiculous. I do NOT need to enroll in something that bills me, regularly and indefinitely, to periodically ship me cartridges. I have already purchased enough cartridges. They already have enough ink in them. How can I get them to WORK, since I have already paid good money for them?

Hi @JohnLo81,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to print from your instant ink cartridges.

Instant Ink is basically a monthly subscription-based service from HP where you pay a fee each month for the number of pages you print, and HP will deliver new ink cartridges when your printer is about to run low.

Please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Let me know.
