I have an HP Envy 45 20 that has been giving me an error message for weeks and I can not print. Classes started this week and I am in a bind now. I have tried all of the above listed solutions and none of them work, firmware is up to date, cartridges are clean, etc. My monthly fee has been charged for the ink yet I still can't print. Please advise as to how to rectify this issue ASAP.

Also, have you checked you HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
