I have just replaced the HP black ink but get slightly conflicting messages on the printer screen and my HP Smart dashboard. The printer screen says I cannot use the cartridge until the printer has been enrolled with HP Instant Ink. My HP Smart dashboard say the cartridge is imcompatible and can only be used on a printer enrolled with HP Instant ink. I enrolled the printer with HP Instant ink when i bought it (that's how I received the replacement cartridge automatically) so don't understand why it is asking me to do this again. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power source, plus also checked the cartridges. I have had the printer for less than a month.
