I am receiving the following error when attempting to connect to Windows 10 sender desktop from a receiver running CentOS 7 on an Intel NUC7i7BNH 
"Advanced Features Activation Failed - Invalid Receiver BIOS UUID detected, no Advanced Features activation possible"

We are using HP RGS Sender software v7.6.1 and receiver software v7.6.1

There do not appear to be any errors related to FlexLM licensing events . These are the connection logs from the Windows 10 sender for today which would incorporate multiple logins

Does anyone know why I am receiving this error? I really need to understand if this license related and can be resolved or is this is a hardware limitation of the underlying receiver client?

What hardware is your sender?  RGS checks for the system model to see if it is HPI hardware or not.  If not, it requires a license.  We do have trial licenses available for testing.

The sender is running Win 10 Pro on a VM running NVIDIA Grid v6.7 software. The HP RGS installation was installed on the template and pointed to a permanent license file. The client is then provisioned as a linked clone from this template.

 

I am happy to share the license file details via private email or send logs from the sender if that would assist ?

 

We do not have the same issue when a windows receiver client connects to the same sender via Hp RGS

 

Can you please advise me how to go about getting a temporary HP RGS license for testing as well?
