What graphics card is used in My Compaq Persario CQ42-401TU model laptop?

Can it be upgraded?

Hi:

 

Your notebook comes with the Intel Intel GMA 4500 graphics adapter.

 

That GPU is an integral part of the motherboard.

 

The only way the graphics can be upgraded is to replace the motherboard with one listed in the CQ42 service manual that may come with a better GPU.
