My firewall tells me that HP Touchpoint Analytics Client is making outgoing requests despite the fact that I have set all of my settings in HP Privacy Settings to "No".

I would like to uninstall software that is slowing down my computer and sending network requests without my permission. However, as described in this thread, I do not see an entry for this software in windows' "Add or Remove programs" list. The only HP app I see there is the HP Privacy manager.

Hello

you have to check in Windows services if HP Analytics is running.

execute : services.msc and check for HP Analytics.

eventually disable it.

bye

Thanks for that. I would prefer to actually uninstall the program rather than just prevent it running.

I expect that whatever the definition of spyware is, this fulfills it.
