Laptop unexpectedly turned off and won’t turn on

Before my laptop turned off it said something about LOCK and now it won’t turn on

Do you see any light on the PC? Check if If the battery indicator LED, located near the power icon is On or blinks.

Have you tried using a different AC adapter to charge the PC and check?

Refer to this document for more info on how to troubleshoot NO power issues on HP Notebooks.

If the PC powers ON, perform a hardware test.

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. Perform System Test > Quick test. Share the result
