Re: Touchscreen not working on HP spectre x360

I have no touchscreen capabilities.  Updates are up to date.  Not sure what to do next...have already, of course, shut down, ran around the block and restarted.  HP Spectre  Laptop Model 13-ac063dx

Any help please - I love the touchscreen and use it constantly.  I feel like I'm in the dark ages without it.

Thanks

Re: Touchscreen not working on HP spectre x360

@draveskk

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, the touchscreen does not work on your notebook,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

What is the operating system on the PC?

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

What is the operating system on the PC?

Did you perform a hardware test on a touchscreen?

Here are a few steps we could try to resolve the issue: Click here

Follow steps mentioned below this topic from the article: Screen does not respond to touch or responds intermittently

Perform a hard reset (notebook PCs)
Enable the touchscreen driver in Device Manager
Reinstall the touchscreen driver in Device Manager
Install Windows updates
Update the BIOS and graphics driver
Configure the touch display
Perform a touch screen diagnostic test in HP Hardware Diagnostics
Adjust the power management settings for your touchscreen
Reset your computer
Perform a Microsoft System Restore

Let me know how this goes,

Cheers!
