Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, the touchscreen is not working.

Don’t worry, I’m here to help! To better assist you -

1) Were there any hardware or software changes made?

2) Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before posting here?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps  -

Step 1 Hard Reset -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Remove the Battery.
Note - This step might not be applicable if you have a desktop or a computer that has a built-in battery.
4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.
6) Try to turn on the computer.

Step 2 Re-install the Touchscreen driver -

1)In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2)Expand the Human Interface Devices heading.
3)The touchscreen device is labeled HID-compliant touch screen, or similar. Right-click the touch screen device and select Uninstall.
4)Confirm the uninstallation.
5) Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver.

Step 3 Configure the Touchscreen -

1) In Windows, search for and open Calibrate the screen for pen and touch input.
2) On the Display tab, click Setup.
3) Setup button in the Tablet PC Settings window
4) Click Touch input.
5) Follow the on-screen directions to identify your screen as a touchscreen.
6) Tap the screen to see if it responds. If it does not, continue to the next step.

If the issue still persists, test the hardware.

Step 4 Test the Touchscreen -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F2 once.
4) Go to Component test.
5) From the list, run the Touchscreen test.

If the Touchscreen test passed, try these step -

Step 5 System Restore -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F11 once for System Recovery.
4) Choose the Keyboard Layout.
5) Click on Troubleshoot.
6) Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Restore.
7) Choose a Restore point or a Restore date when the computer was working fine.
8) Click on OK to initialize the System Restore.

Hope this helps!

Let me know how that goes.
