Hi:
W10 puts things in categories, so don't feel bad, because some of the categories they put the programs in aren't that obvious.
You will find the YouCam application in the all programs listing in the Productivity and Tools program folder.
You can right click on the YouCam application and pin it to the taskbar for easy access if you use it frequently.
Pin to Taskbar is in the 'More' selection when you right click on the app.

I admit that I am grad-school-stressed-to-the-max, but I cannot locate a Productivity and Tools program folder. I have searched but to no avail. would it be called something else on the Notebook that I have?

Click on the windows icon in the lower left side of the taskbar.
Scroll down the list of programs in alphabetical order.
There should be a productivity and tools folder.
In that folder should be the YouCam software.
That is where it is located in my notebook.
If you still can't find it, click on the search icon next to the Windows icon, and type Cyberlink YouCam, and it should show up in the search window.
