@RoCryan

 

May I know the OS version installed on your Mac?

 

Are you able to make Photocopies? This will help us identify if it's an issue with the Printer or Software

 

Also try using Apple Image Capture to Scan and let me know if that works.

HP Easyscan installed but not responding on my MAC OS

OS. 10.13.6 . I really want to use HP's easy scan as that was what I was using before having my MAC cleaned up.  That is I don't want to start fooling around with Apple Image scan. Yes, I can make photocopies.  thanks for answering.

Please uninstall the HP Easy Scan from the Mac. Follow these steps

 

1.) Open Finder and click Applications

2.) Move HP Easy Scan App to Trash and clear the Trash.

3.) Open Finder then click Go and Click Home.

4.) Click View then Click Show View Options. Check the box Show Library Folder.

The change is instantaneous and the Library folder will immediately becomes visible.

5.) Open Library and Open Application Support, move HP Easy Scan App folder to Trash and clear the Trash

 

 Next ensure your MAC has the latest updates. Link: https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT201541

 

Then download the HP Easy Scan from this Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hp-easy-scan/id967004861?mt=12
