HP Pen not working on Pavilion

HP Recommended
Pavilion x360 Convertable

Hi! I bought the HP Pen and when I follow the instructions on how to set it up on the computer, my computer doesn't recognize it and the pen doesn't turn on. I have done all the updates on my computer and it still doesn't work. When I open the "HP Pen Control" app, it tells me "No supported device found" and there's a pop-up window that says "Sorry, HP Pen Control is not compatible with this computer."

Is this pen not compatible with my computer even though the website says that it's compatible with HP Pavilions? If it's not, what pen can I get for this computer to be able to use the sketchpad? I've read that the Bamboo Ink Pen might be compatible.
