HP ALM software

Hi ,

We are using HP ALM in our project, There to import all the requirements to HP ALM, I am using Excel Add-ins supported by HP ALM. I can able to import the requirements succesfully from Excel sheet to HP ALM.

The Problem here i am facing is timing period. I am exporting 1951 requirements , It is taking taking nearly around 2:00 hours to successfully upload all into HP ALM.The file size ,which i used to upload is 172 kb. I am importing the functional requirements ,Totally it is having around 10 columns, incluiding mandatory fileds.

1) Is that normal or anything need to be taken care from side?

2) If it is normal ,Is there any way to reduce the time ? In HP ALM documents nowhere, I have seen about the time .

Thanks in advance .

Note : anyother additional links regarding HPALM also welcome, because I have just started exploring HPALM for the first time.
