How do I load the driver for my old Office Jet 6978 printer? Please.

Download and install the printer driver for your Windows 10 computer from this link.

 

You may also refer to the steps mentioned in the below documents -

USB Printer Setup

The system is trying to install the driver for a wireless printer. I am setup with a cable.

The driver wants to install as a wireless. I recently installed new aftermarket ink cartridges. Could this be the problem? The printer worked fine for a whole day with the new cartridges.

My 6978 is not listed in the "Install the Printer Driver" and Windows search does not have it either.
