Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Hope someone can help. Out of the blue cannot open photos to veiw or edit. The thumbnails show up but when i click on them i get a message saying - application error the application was not able to start correctly (0xlx)
Its a hp notebook running on windows 10.

This issue might occur when there is a corrupted system files in your operating system.  I would suggest you to run System File Checker Scan and check if the issue persists.

 

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that scans for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Please refer to the steps below to run System File Checker scan, suggested by one of the MVP.
