I’m trying to see if an individual can save all your previous printed history if they where trying to save a specific document on to a USB drive. If I just simply were saving a Microsoft office document on to a personal USB drive; will that automatically save all the previously printed document or just that specific file which was meant to be scanned. I personally would not want to share my document with anyone else. Just providing an example that could happen. Please do write back. Thanks.

@Dontlook, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The print history is not saved by default on the computer. So there are no security issues that come with it.
If you would wish to keep the documents, follow the steps below-
Go to Devices and Printers > Select the Printer > Right-Click on the printer name > Select Printer Properties > Go to Advanced Tab > Check/Uncheck Keep printed documents
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

No just a simple document. It’s just a security concern I have. Since printer software doesn’t have individual account for home users. If a guest where printing an important document and saving it on a usb drive and I certainly would not want to share my own documents which would have been previously printed.
It’s just a question.
