If you decide to continue with Remote Boost v22 after testing HP Anyware, or you need features of Remote Boost that is not in HP Anyware yet, please reach out so I can help you with your SpaceMouse devices.  You will get both Remote Boost V22 and HP Anyware in a trial or when purchasing a subscription.

i am a little confused.
As we understand it, Remote Boost is no longer available, only HP Anyware from Teradici.
What is the difference between Remote Boost V22 and HP Anyware?

We have been trying to get a trial license for HP Anyware for a few days now.
Where can we get a trial license for Remote Boost V22?

Can you please send us links where we can get more information about Remote Boost v22?

Hello AWB6

We come from Switzerland.
I started the request via the Teradici website using the contact form https://reinvent.hp.com/teradici-contact-us.

My technical support "Head IT Solutions" has requested in Germany.

We have 2 zCentral R4 workstation which we bought mid 2022.
Is the license for Remote Boost still valid for these two devices?
See pictures attached
Thanks for your support

Thank you for the information. I have located your request that we received yesterday. I will ensure that you are contacted today.

With regards to your question about V22 and Anyware, let me see if I can clear up the confusion.

On the 1st October 2021 HP acquired Teradici who develop the PCoIP display protocol which was the base of their CAS and CAS+ remoting solution.

V22 is still a valid remoting solution, however, it was announced in the early part on last year that it would require a paid subscription from 1st Jan 2023. It was also announced that the two products (Remote Boost and Teradici CAS/+) will be merged into one solution called HP Anyware.

HP Anyware is a rebrand of the Teradici Remote Solution and will the foundation of all future development

At the moment there is some features of V22 that we know customers like. These need to ported over to HP Anyware, this is why V22 is still available today with a paid subscription.

To support our workstation customers V22 was free to use throughout 2022, this would have been advised at the time of installation.

So what is the future of V22…

V22 of Remote Boost will be sunset overtime. What this time period is, will very much depend on the aforementioned features migration.

During this feature migration period the HP Anyware subscription will allow you to either use V22 or HP Anyware.

So in your case you can choose the use the subscription for V22 and once you have tested HP Anyware then the subscription can be used for that.

I hope this makes sense

Hello,

I could not see the pictures, but if you are using Remote Boost V22, it is probably the license expiration notification.

I can provide you with a temporary 60 day license that is going to expire on March 10, 2023.  I just need you to send me a request at ZCentral@hp.com
