Hello,
i have a problem with a machine running the sender part (not an HP, so rgs license was bought separately). It has been running fine for a month or so on a trial licence with version 7.3.3.
Yesterday it was updated to 7.4 x64 with the bought license and since then it is not possible to connect anymore.
Authentication is ok but it fails on authorization.
There is no other user connected, pc is freshly rebootet but no authorization.
Uninstallation/reinstallation didnt fix the problem.
Could it be that a session wasnt terminated correctly? If so, where is such information stored?
Hope someone is able to help
best regards
Chris

Hello,
so i answer my own question
After i raised the loglevel to debug, i found in rg.log the sender is complaining about a missing NvFBC64.dll which is Nvidia Front Buffer Capture library.
So it turns out the problem was an old Nvidia graphics driver package.
I installed an actual driver for my FX3800 (342.00) and it worked again.
But HP should fix the error message because its very missleading.
Best regards
Chris

RGS thinks there is a collaboration session. When you say that you had been using RGS 7.3.3 and was recently upgraded, did you do an upgrade to RGS 7.4 or did you uninstall 7.3.3, reboot, then install RGS 7.4? Will reach out to you in an email shortly.
I work on the behalf of HP.
