Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We are using Windows 10 Enterprice  LTSC

We will give only to a administrator automatically collaboration and the possibility to take floorcontrol.

Other users must have the permission of de main user.

With the following senderconfig settings :

Rgsender.RequestFloorControlTime=500

Rgsender.Collaboration.AlwaysAcceptCollaborators=1

Everyone is automatically a collaborator ( in the discription  ## Allow authenticated collaborators to connect without prompting for).

Can we make someone with administrator rights the authenticated collaborator?

The automatically take floor control  after some time off inactivity does't work. The "Rgsender.RequestFloorControlTime=500" is uncommented in our senderconfig

When we add de next line everyone had always instantly the possibility to take floorcontrol.

Rgsender.Collaboration.AlwaysEnableIo=1

Best regards,

Labo VPS

Hello,

The behavior you are describing is the expected for the Collaboration feature.

Once you allow collaborators to be accepted without prompt, all users will be able to join, regardless if they have admin rights or not.

The same applies for enabling input upon joining the collaboration.

The primary user of the Collaboration (the user who connected to the sender first) has the power to allow / deny input of a collaborator upon connect.

I believe the best way to prevent a non-admin from joining collaboration or having input enabled is to disable the "AlwaysAcceptCollaborators" and "AlwaysEnableIo" properties.

This means that the primary user needs to manually accept or deny a collaboration request from every user who attempts to join, and then decide if the user can have input enabled or not upon joining.

I understand this can be a hassle if you have a lot of collaborators, but having the primary user have full control over all collaborators would be the way to go. For now.

hello,

I understand.

It is not possible to automatically grant, only someone with administrator rights to collaborate and automatically give only this person with administrator rights to take full control.  We want to use this so that a administrator can look en take some actions if needed  by control off a unbrokered connection in HP ZCentralConnect.

Best regard
