HP ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC IDS Base Model

Hi,

I have HP Zbook Fury 17.3 G8 IDS with Sure Start.

I have 2 questions:

1. the first one is how can I reset the CMOS. What is the key combination for my model exists? I didn’t find anything in the instructions except that my model supports such a function.

I want to know combination to reset the CMOS. Because win+v or win+b don’t work for my model.

(I know that my model have this function (reset CMOS). My model have Sure Start and it available for reset CMOS, I read it in specifications.)

2. And the second question is if I replace the RTC Battery on my own, I need to remove the motherboard first. And if I remove the system board and install it back HP says in my model assembly video, that I need a new BEAM CONNECTOR.

So do I still need to change the beam connector or not when removing the system board and installing it back?

(I will not buy a new system board I will replace the same as I have - stock system board)

! - I remove the system board only to take out and put back the RTC battery to reset the CMOS.

! - I wanted to clarify: what if I remove the motherboard right now and put it back (the same motherboard without changing it) do I need to purchase this BEAM CONNECTOR or can I use the one I already have?!

Could you check it with the technicians guys because I'm afraid that if I remove the system board and put it back with the same beam connector laptop will stop working.
