HP RGS Receiver
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I just put together a new pc and everything is fine so far. However, when I attempt to connect to my remote machine through HP RGS Receiver for work (through a VPN) It doesn't seem to recognize my internet connection and doesn't activate HP Velocity, which I need to have a stable framerate while I'm working. My internet is coming from a NetGear Powerline Adapter, which is piggybacking off my router a few meters away. My previous machine has a WIFI card in it while this new one does not, so maybe the program doesn't recognize my connection through the adapter, I'm not really sure.  My question is:

Is there another way I can get HP RGS to activate its advanced features? I really require HP Velocity for my job. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt, We had a server issue that was fixed mid-day (US Mountain time) on Friday 2/26. Did the issue occur after this time?

Hi Becky!

It seems like that might have been the issue! I just tried to log into my work machine and I got the green activation feature when I connected. Hp Velocity works fine and I get a smooth connection. I guess I just had really bad timing haha.

Thank you for your help!

Matt
