Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi KellyRGS

I've been using RGS between two Z workstations running Win7 very successfully. It is by far the most powerful remote desktop software I have used.

The previous configuration was:

Receiver - Z620, Win7, 64bit @ 1920x1200

Sender - Z640, Win7, 64bit @ 2560x1440

Both running 32bit versions of RGS

However, I am now trying to run RGS between the following:

Receiver - Z620, Win7, 64bit @ 1920x1200

Sender - No Name, Win10, 64bit @ 2560x1440

Both running 64bit versions of RGS (7.4.0.13800)

The issues being experienced are graphics related, not connection related:

- Sender cannot match the screen resolution of the receiver

- OpenGL apps launch, but the OpenGL window is completely white

- Sometimes the resolution is sent @ 1024x768 (that takes me back a while!), other times it is the full 2560x1440, but with scrollbars

I've checked that no 32bit versions are sticking around (at least, the files are removed from the install folder). They are both running the same version of RGS.

Right now the license is a trial, until I can get it properly working.

I'm not sure what else to try. I will PM the install log to you (just in case it contains anything sensitive).

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Apologies for the delayed response.  Let me take a look at your logs.  I will respond to your PM after reviewing your log file.  Happy to hear you like RGS, and will help to get this issue resolved.  What version of RGS were you using before moving to RGS 7.4?
