HP Z Central Remote Boost 2020.0
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

We are attempting to upgrade all our Z series workstations from RGS 7.7 to Z Central Remote Boost 2020.0.

When we rolled out RGS 7.7, we did this automatically using the following command line parameters...

/z"/autoinstall /agreetolicense"

This worked fine.

With the new 'SenderSetup64.exe' file, it seems to fail without writing anything to the RGS log (%TEMP%\rgssenderInstaller.log).

We are deploying this using PDQ Deploy software. This runs up a remote service and installs it as outlined in this article below...

https://help.pdq.com/hc/en-us/articles/220509287-How-It-Works-PDQ-Deploy

Something seems to have changed in the 'SenderSetup64.exe' file which is stopping it from working.

Has anyone come across this? Any solutions?

All the best,

Rich

Hi all,

After quite a lot of testing, I've found that it works on Windows 10 1909, but fails on Windows 10 1803.

Could there be a pre-requisite that is missing?

Thanks,

Rich
