HP ZCentral Remote Boost Software
Linux

Hi

I installed Z Central Remote boost on my Linux. On installation I expected a window to pop up asking for a licence key as the linux machine is a Lenovo. Unfortunately it never asked me for these details.

I know the licence goes /etc/opt/hpremote/rgsender

The only licence file in there is the 'Preload.lic', do I have to amend that with the licence key code I have? If I do where does it need to go to be recoginised?

Any help would be appriciated as I've hit a brick wall.

Best Regards

Adam

You are correct that it did not prompt your for a license if you are installing the Remote Boost sender on a Lenovo system.

If you installed a receiver, that never requires a license.  The preload license is for HP Z Workstations.  I am going to have private message enabled for you as I would like to capture a log file.
