Good day,

My laptop was stolen from my car 2weeks ago. Can I

1. Lock it

2. Access my files remotely 

3. Track it with the ip address 

I have not connected it to any cloud service or server but activated my windows account and hp account.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  HP can not track your laptop nor can any of us here on the community. Unless you have LoJack or similar tracking software the only course of action you have is filing a police report. (by CherylG ) 

 

If you log into your laptop with a Microsoft account- you may be able to locate general area:
