New Mac OS Big Sur 10.16 issue

So it seems that after upgrading to the new OS 10.16 Big Sur, the receiver side of HP Z Central remote has issues with consistant red flashing network connection. It does not happen with 10.15 and below. Does anyone else have this issue?

Are you actually able to connect to the sender, or just getting the pink/red screen? Which version of Remote Boost do you have installed on sender and receiver?  Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the receiver after performing the OS upgrade?  What is your receiver model?

   Yes, I’m able to connect to the sender I was on a older OS for Mac and was working fine just when I was on 10.16 Big Sur it isn’t working well. I did uninstalled and reinstalled to the latest version

What version of Remote Boost are you using on your sender and receiver?

For the sender we are using 20.0.0.23427

For the receiver we are using the same version 20.0.0.23427.

I am using HP RGS Receiver 7.7.0.20876 on Big Sur and Apple Silicon with no issue.

Hey Sphen,

    Interesting, was the Big Sur update from a few days ago or the beta version that was around for a bit? Again it only happens when someones has updated the MAC OS 10.15 and below works normally

it was actually migration assistant from my old machine (10.15.7) to new M1 MBP running (11.0.1)

Usually I would expect issues with migration assistant 🙂

That's good to know, The two systems that were updated were auto updated and they didn't use migration assistant as far as I know

keep in mind i am actually using an older viewer - HP RGS Receiver not zboost (even thought they are basically the same). can you try that?
