ZCentral RB 2020.1.0 Win Sender
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community,
I need help with the licensing of the Sender.
There are 10 licences activated on the HP ZCentral Manager.
Various users and computers have been created.

Now the user connects to his PC via the manager.
The user always receives the message on the Sender computer that no licence is available. How does the sender obtain its licence from the manager? For information: the sender is not an HP Z... workstation.

Thanks
Manuel

When using ZCentral Connect, you will still need a Remote Boost license installed on each non-Z Workstation sender in order for the receiver to connect to the senders. Remote Boost will automatically install a license on HP Z Workstations.  You can download a trial license from the below link.

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/workstations/zcentral-remote-boost.html

Click on the download the software  for your sending and receiving devices.  The first item is for downloading a 60 day trial license.  You will need to register a username and password to complete the download.

Hi KellyRGS,

thank you very much for the quick reply.

We have purchased 12 licenses from item number: 9TS59AAE.

Are these the correct licenses?

Thanks

The licenses you have purchased are for Connect concurrent sessions.  The SKU for Remote Boost Standard License (one to one connection, each license is installed locally on each sender) is 9TS60AAE.  If you want to use a floating license server where senders check out a license only when establishing a Remote Boost connection, that SKU is 9TS61AAE.  As I mentioned, you can download a trial license for Remote Boost to try for 60 days (it is basically a standard license just expires), or you can request a trial license for a floating license server from me to see which works best for your needs.
