Hi Colin,

Using discreet graphics would be a way to do it.

Another option could be to add these two properties on the receiver config file:

Rgreceiver.Experience.Renderer.AllowHybrid=D3D Bitmap OpenGL

Rgreceiver.Experience.PreferredRenderer=Bitmap

While this issue could not be reproduced on our side, a particular Microsoft Update (KB2670838) was also mentioned to be necessary to have installed, if you don't have it already.

You can get it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2670838/platform-update-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-serve...

Hope that helps.

Hi Colin,

D3D11 and OpenGL renderers are not supported on hybrid laptops, but it should still create the DirectBitmap renderer and you should have no issues starting the receiver.

May I ask for the full log of the receiver?

I will send you a private message with FTP information for upload.

Thank you.

Thanks Lizzy I will see if I can get it.

Would it be better to just force Discrete gfx mode in the BIOS, so we can use the OpenGL renderer?

Forcing discreet gfx mode in the bios worked fine as a workaround. No issues with ZCentral Remote Boost now on the ZBook 15 G3.
