macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hi there,

We're having an issue getting ZCentral Remote Boost to connect using the receiver on a Mac trashcan. Our VPN works perfectly and we are able to ping the computers back and forth. The issue is the authentication. When connecting the Boost using a PC receiver, we are immediately prompted to enter a username and password, but when trying from the Mac receiver, we get no such prompt and are quickly disconnected with "Unable to connect to sender: connect timeout)"

When I look at the logs, the final entry is:

08-04-20 15:17:29 19547(163848192) INFO - ConnectThread::run: Authentication failed or was cancelled.

Sender PC: HP Z4 G4 workstation. Windows 10 64bit

Receiver Mac: MacBook Pro. Mojave 10.14.6

Uninstall and reinstall didn’t work. We are able to ping the sender machine from the receiver machine just fine. It seems to be an issue with the Mac receiver not having an option for authentication. On the PC receiver, there is an option in the Connection settings for “prompt for username and password” which the Mac receiver does not have.

I’ve noticed that the PC receiver immediately brings up the username/password window when establishing a connection, whereas the Mac receiver immediately fails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Which version of Remote Boost are you using on your sender and receiver, 20.0.0 or 20.0.1?
