Product: Remote Graphics Receiver
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Updating Remote Graphics Receiver software 7.2 to 7.5 I'm receiving the following error " Unable to intialize HPRGS session handler"  I've already tried the steps in the below Advisory article.  I've also tried reinstalling multiple times.

The only thing that gets me around this error is going back to the 32 bit version.      I'm running on Windows 10 (64 bit) Operating System.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated with allowing me to upgrade to the 64 bit version of Remote Graphics Receiver!!!!!

Are you uninstalling RGS 7.2 and then installing RGS 7.5 or performing an upgrade?  How are you installing RGS, script or using the executable as an administrator?  Are you having issues with both the sender and receiver?

We are coming from 7.2.1  I tried alot of diffrent things.  I've tired running the bat script as admin then installing RGS 7.5.  I've also tried the deleting the registry key fix from the advisory then reinstalling.  I even rolled back to the 7.2.1 then tried running the .bat file then installing 7.5. Also uninstalling and reinstalling leostream connect.  But I'm still receiving the "Unable to initialize HPRGS session handle" error.

Glad we were able to resolve your issue offline, but wanted to post here the resolution.  Leostream Connect had an issue with RGS 7.4 and 7.5 64bit receiver.  Leostream did a fix in their latest version which can be downloaded from their website.  The other option is to install RGS 7.4 or 7.5 32bit receiver with older versions of Leostream Connect.
