compress stream to lowerthe bandwith

is there a setting in the GUI or on the config file to lower the bandwith or even to compress the stream so it doesnt consume as much?

Enabling AVC (Advanced Video Compression) on your receiver settings should help with that.

On the Performance tab, select "Enable Advanced Video Compression on Sender".

im guessing theres no option to do this on the sender

if there isnt is there any way to pre enable this option for all the receivers before we roll out all the recievers to the end user hosts?

Yes, under Performance that's what the Image Quality and Advanced Video Compression options do. It's covered in the documentation as well.

Yes, you can adjust the settings in the config file on the Receiver side (rgsreceiverconfig in C:\Program Files\HP\Remote Graphics Receiver) such that you pre-set what users will get. For many of the properties you can use the 'IsMutable' option so that users can't adjust the setting.

Have a look at this file it's pretty easy to follow.
