Product: HP Officejet 5740

The display screen does not highlight the 4x6 photo paper tray option when I load my HP photo paper.  Only the main paper tray is highlighted therefore I cannot print only the smaller paper.

@Kittn7, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

To assist you better, which device do you use to print?

The print settings can be changed from the application you use to print.

 

For now, let us try these steps:

 

Make sure the photo papers are loaded properly in the photo tray. Adjust the width guides.

Refer to this document to know how to load photo papers.

 

Once you load the photo paper and close the tray, check the printer screen where you will be prompted to choose the paper size.
