With 8710 Office Jet Pro    - printing photos on glossy Photo paper,  it is  smearing  (too much ink going on?)  It prints  photos fine on regular plain paper.  What is wrong?

Printed  fine now.  I used "Media & Quality"  and " Glossy Photo paper Fine" On Kirkland Professional Photo paper -  no smearing now.  Thank you!

Are you using HP photo paper?  Printer driver adjusted to print on a specific media?

Some low-quality glossy photo papers can cause ink not to dry.
