Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 8710 printer used to print on both plain paper and photo paper. Now it makes a loud noise whenever I try to use photo paper. It prints roughly half of the picture (the top half) and then cuts off. Or, the paper jams. I have changed the settings to try photo paper, glossy paper, and heavy plain. None of those options worked. I have cleaned the printer rollers and tried a soft and hard reset. I have also confirmed all firmware is up to date.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Remove the paper tray and put in back. Make sure all the rollers are cleaned: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-8710-all-in-one-printer-series/7902014/documen...
