Has anyone had to repair or replace the sensor that enables the ADF to operate.  My machine will no longer  feed paper from the ADF for fax or scan.  If so what did it take to fix the machine?  What id it cost?

Thanks for any insight you may have.

  • Check the condition of the paper and reload it.

Thanks for your response.  I previously did the cleaning process for the Rollers and the Separator Pad per the instructions you provided to me in response to my intial question.  That did not work.  That is why I clarified my original wording in the question I submitterd to indicate that it appears to be a problem with the sensor that detects when there is paper loaded in the ADF to either scan or fax. That sensor or/ands the the circuit that responds to the sensor input is not working. Fortunately I can scan one page at a time from the platten, but I cannot do that with the fax.

Do you have any suggestions regarding the feasibility of replacing that sensor through as service facility?
