iPhone 11 AirPrint to printer. The print prints huge. From desktop the print is fine. Never had this problem with my iPhone 8. Why is it printing huge?

By printing huge it takes mire paper and ink. A 2 page report that usually takes to pages it takes 9-10 pages to  print because the print is so huge.

Hi @Sarahmc1911

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printing issue.

To better assist you -

1.) What's the application that you are trying to print from?

2.) Are you trying to print from AirPrint or HP Smart app? If you are printing from AirPrint, try HP Smart app and vice-versa to see if that helps.

While you respond to that, I'd suggest you try updating your iPhone using these steps - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Also, try reducing the font size on your iPhone using these steps -

1.) On your iPhone, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size.

2.) Drag the slider to select the font size you want.

3.) Try to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
