Bad setup cartridge (cyan)

Hello, Need help please . I just recently acquired an HP 7740, but unfortunately its cyan setup cartridge is not functional; and my dealer didn't want to know anything. So I had to acquire a new HP cyan cartridge, however impossible to initialize my printer (I did not know that you always had to have the cyan cartridge setup). Please Help, how can I initialize my printer with the new cyan Hp cartridge. Thank you very much and excuse my english .

I have gone through your Post and would like to help
 

We could try changing some settings in the Support Menu and check if that helps

 

Since these steps are specific to your printer I have sent the instructions in a private message

 

Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.

 

Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope
