@FilipposSakall Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the black ink cartridge is low after printing 10 pages.

Please let us know are you using HP genuine ink cartridges.

Are the ink cartridges are regular ink cartridges or setup ink cartridges.

What type of document you are printing.

If you are printing the photos that will use the more ink.

Please perform the hard reset and check.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed

Yes i am using genuine HP cartridge. I print only text pages.

I dont think hard reset will make any difference, the HP doctor shows that the ink is low.

I have opened many times the printer to scan documents and rarely to print. Does this affect the ink?

Now i buyed a black cartridge and won;t print black and white since the color ink is low 😞

@FilipposSakall

I understand your concerns.

Your printer is designed to print only when all ink cartridges have ink. Some ink from all the ink cartridges is used in periodic servicing tasks. This helps to prevent issues such as printhead clogs and poor print quality. There is no way to bypass this feature.

Refer to this document to get more information regarding the same.

Please replace the color ink cartridges and check.

If the issue still persists, please contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!
