Black ink not working after replacing cartridge, have replaced cartridge again and problem continues

I replaced my black cartridge after getting message ink was low for about a week. The printer worked fine before replacing the cartridge. Black would not print, color does. I attempted multiple times printhead cleaning without success. I replaced the cartridge again, thinking the first was faulty and still cannot get it to print black. I've printhead cleaned, retried placing the cartridge, checked the vent hole. I do not get any error messages, in fact it recognizes that the black cartridge is full. Please help. Printer out of warranty November 2019.
