Envy 6230
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just installed my new Envy 6230 but getting streaks in the black ink printing. Tried aligning and cleaning cartridges down to level 3 deep cleaning but still some streaks in black printing. Printer message advised me to contact technical support. can anyone suggest what to try next?

Does this happen while copying in black ?

  1. In the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Let me know how the report looks.

Betty. The quality report shows the streaks and many faint patches in the black boxes and horizontal and vertical lines. I have followed all the steps in the guide. I now wish to log a warranty repair visit please.

@Lodger1 I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

 

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

 

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
