Hi

     My issue is when i select black and white color for printing why is the color ink getting reduced. How to i stop my printer from using color. And i print when the color cartridge get over so as to use only black.Please Help Fast THANK YOU

To decrease grain, some black areas might be printed with a mix of black and color inks. If you follow the steps in this document to print with black ink only, no color ink is used in printouts.

Some ink from all the ink cartridges is used in periodic servicing tasks. This helps to prevent issues like printhead clogs and poor print quality.

Change print settings to print in grayscale

Perform step 2 mentioned in this document.

HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer supports printing in Single-cartridge mode where you can remove the tri-color ink cartridge and print only in Black or vice versa.

Where should i need to make the changes in the printer then please list me out the steps to be followed to do so

As far i have checked there is no option for chaning on the printer

You do not have an option to change this on the printer. You will have to make the changes on the PC as mentioned in my previous post.

You can print using only one ink cartridge. Remove the tri-color ink cartridge from the printer and try printing in black.
