Bought new printer, but the alignment page didn't print

HP OfficeJet Pro 8023
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hello,

 

I bought a new printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 Series (HP OfficeJet Pro 8023) and did everything by the instructions, however the alignment page didn't print (and now when i try to print something, just a blank paper comes out).  What am i supposed to do, so that the alignment page will print?

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

 

To align printer follow the below instructions :

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Align Printhead.

if the issue persists, try the steps in the document:Black Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
