The button switches on my HP DeskJet 2512 printer are broken.  The on-off button is sunk into the body of the printer.  The printer is out of warranty.  The printer stays on all the time until it turns off from lack of use.  The printer will print and scan.  I cannot accurately locate the other buttons to press them.  When I put in new ink cartridges the last time, I could not press the scan button to scan the self-generated sheet to align the printer, so the printing is blurry.  Is it possible to obtain a replacement switch that I could install myself?  Any other suggestions on how to proceed?

I tried following the link that you gave, and it just brought me back to this support site.  I can find no links or specific instructions to contact HP repair.  Please give me specific instructions on how to contact the support engineers, or have one of them contact me.  Thanks.

Well, I will try one more time.  I am disappointed in this web site.  No matter what I try, it just leads me back here.  I am also disappointed in the lack of help on the phone.  I finally called the support number and was told that HP does not sell parts for this printer any more.  Then the lady tried to sell me a new printer.  I would really like to find a part and repair my old printer if possible.  Does anyone know where I could get a button panel to repair this printer?  I have searched online to no avail.  I hate to buy a new printer if I could find a way to repair this one.  Thanks for any help.
