I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

Do you experience the same issue when making photocopies?

Are you selecting the correct paper size and paper type settings when printing?

May I know which App are you using to print those 4 x 6 Photos?

Keep me posted

Hello,

Thank You fo r trying to help.  I am using "Photos" as my app to print photos, and yes the settings are correct. When I do a photocopy of a 4x6 photo, it prints more of the picture, but leaves uneven edges.  So on two-three sides of the paper there is white, and other side is full picture.

Should I return the printer? Thank You.

Hi @smgetz

I'd suggest, let's try updating the Mac. Refer to this document for steps - How to update the software on your Mac

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Try printing from a different application and check.

You may also try printing using the HP Smart app. Refer to this document for more information - HP Printers - Install and Use the HP Smart App (Mac)

I have purchased the OfficePro 9025 recently. Overall I am happy with the printing except for 4x6 pictures. I am using a high-quality glossy photo in tray 2. I line it up with the 4x6 mark on the tray. I am printing from my phone. I have had one successful picture printed. The rest have been only partial parts of the picture. Also, on the back there are streeks of ink.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Which phone do you have? Does this only happen while printing photos? What photo paper are you using?

Let us know 🙂

Hi,

Thanks for your response.  I have an iPhone 7, but I am not printing off of the iPhone.  I use a Mac for photo editing and printing.

Thank You.  Also, I am using 4x6 photo paper.

That is my situation.  I see someone else has the same problem, printing from their phone.

Please ensure your Mac and Printer have the latest updates

Printer Firmware: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Mac update: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT2015

After checking all those details and if the Ping Test is successful, Remove and Re-add the printer using Airprint. AirPrint is an Apple technology that helps you create full-quality printed output without the need to download or install drivers.

1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.

3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button  at the bottom of the list.

4.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.

5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.

Select AirPrint from the Use menu

6.) Try to print

Let me know how it goes😊
