I just purchased this printer and was successful in setting it up wirelessly. Can I now also connect it using a USB cable? If answer is "YES", can I just make the USB connection, i.e. will Windows 10 automatically add the printer, or do I need to re-run the set-up software and select the USB option?
I'd like to have the option of having both set-ups available for me to select, i.e. be able to select the wireless-connected printer or the USB connected printer.
Thank you.

Hi,
The answer is yes, you can connect USB and wireless. Windows 10 can install a generic driver for you to print but the Envy 7640 has many features therefore you need to install printer software and drivers to allow you to print and scan locally using USB.
You need to connect it to internet wirelessly to be able to use its full feature.
Regards.
