How can I set my 8600 printer to default to draft printing

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

 

I understand that you have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer. I read that you would like to default the printer to print in draft mode. 

 

There is something known as presets using which you can store the print settings in Mac. Please refer to this HP document.

 

 If you're printing from an iPad then I suggest you to use the HP AiO remote app to print.
