HP Envy 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I just unboxed a new HP Envy 5055 today. I'm currently facing two issues

1) I can't connect to wifi. I select my network and it always fails to connect. It also doesn't ask me for a wireless password.

2) I can't update the firmware. I've plugged the printer into my PC and downloaded the update, but whenever I start the process the printer just forever says "verifying..."

What can I do here? I'd really like not to have to go through a return process.

Welcome to HP support community.

Set up the printer on your wireless network using Wireless setup Wizard.

1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( Wireless ).

2. Touch ( Settings ).

3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup.

4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Here are the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
