Yes, that's the message and your screenshot is exactly what I get on Windows 10.

The protocol you are using to set the printer/ paper options seem similar to what I might have been trying but when I get back I will follow your instructions and see what happens

Thanks for your assistance

My apologies, Kay_Kay,   I have been immersed in something else and until you reminded me I had completely forgotten about trying out your solution.

It is late where I am now but tomorrow I will see if I can get a print from the photo tray using your method.

Again, thank you for your assistance

Success!

I followed your instructions and was able to print a 4x6 photo direct from the photo tray.

Following your protocol I no longer got the error message concerning empty paper trays or conflicting printer settings.

I printed from the photo tray with the main paper tray both full and empty, it worked without a hitch both times.

I consider the problem solved.

Many thanks for your help

Mike

Hi, i'm still having issues with this printing photos. Still getting the out of paper error from printing within windows image.

If I do it in HP photo creations it prints to the A4 p[aper. Can you detail the exact steps to get it to work. Teh post previously with the screenshot doesnt work for me.
